making slabs

Making large porcelain slabs, with thick slip painted on to a plaster bat. For the Aberystwyth project I’m planning on making flat illustrated pieces, as well as more freestanding. I paint the slip on, pround of the guides, then pull a seel ruler over the top, to level it. By making the slabs this way there is less chance of warping, as it doesn't involve as many stresses as rolling out a slab would.
